Velvet Staging 2.0

This is a great staple for late summer into fall and winter. While it is designed to be oversized, I ordered the XS (only size available) and took my chances based on the garment measurements and my body type (5’9”, 144#, 36A).

Fit is spot on - still a bit boxy through the body, but doesn’t engulf me like most oversized blazers (even when sized down). Looks great with both of my Emerson Fry rib knit tank dresses or as shown with the Cruz tank and ecru/white denim. I’m certain I’ll find other pieces in my closet that will work with it. Very pleased and glad I took a chance with the smaller size.

Great fabric and style

I got the medium in black… it was all that was left and the website said the model had on a medium… I’m 125 lbs and 5’6”. It’s definitely oversized. My daughter said it looked sloppy… so I have ordered a small and x small in the tan to see if the smaller sizes work better… I’m still on the fence about the medium but they are not restocking the black and I did truly love the black.

It ISN’T polished looking… it’ s the kind of fabric that will look a bit on the casual side. I don’t agree that it won’t wrinkle. I don’t know where they got that idea.

But that said, it is Quite comfortable and the pockets are large and well placed.
